Your effective weapon against couch grass and thistles

Give couch grass a coating of Weedkiller 2000 with the combine harvester when you harvest.

  • Economical
  • Time saving
  • Comfortable and healthy work environment
  • Less environmentally damaging
  • Easy to fit

The Weedkiller method can simplify your business and increase its efficiency via the following:

  1) Saving time by harvesting and combating weeds at the same time – without having to remove the straw.
  2) Cutting chemical consumption – thus lowering costs. You need only use 0.3–0.75 litres of Roundup per hectare …
  3) Simpler soil treatment. Either stubble treatment or ploughing.

At Staby Farm, this involves 50 ha that need to be manured, treated using heavy disc machinery, and sowed according to the Väderstad Method.

  1)

A sturdy anodised aluminium boom, telescopically adjustable, to which is fitted the longitudinal, flexible discharge tube made of durable synthetic material.Weeds are generally most receptive and vulnerable immediately after being cut or clipped. On contact with the weedkiller, the plant draws the liquid directly into the root system. This produces an optimal effect – even with small doses.

  2) Prescribed splashguard that improves the efficiency by reducing spillage. The additional benefit is wider contact and discharge area.
  3) Two large, rust-proof containers for the mixture with special holders, volume 2 x 19 = 38 litres, usually sufficient for 7– 8 hectares. From 16' upwards, the tank volume is increased by the addition of an extra tank to 3 x 19 = 57 litres.
  4)

Electronic control panel for stepless dosing, as well as noise and safety functions.

Weedkiller 2000 saves up to 80% of the mixture, thus helping to provide a much healthier work environment

Weedkiller 2000 is fitted on the back of the cutter blade. The discharge tube and the trailing wicks distribute the weedkiller over the freshly turned furrows. The built-in leaf cutter also cuts the shoots on green vegetation, thus contributing to the efficiency.

Weedkiller 2000 is robustly constructed and fits all kinds of harvesters. It is easy to fit and to adjust for different conditions. The air pressure from a spare tyre (not included), for example, is used to provide the operating pressure.

The product contains all other material for safe and simple fitting to your harvester.
